So I'm trying a different app (yeah, it is kind of the hipster thing to use "apps" but it is what it is) to post to the blog. As a side note (isn't that the whole blog?), you would think Google would have an official app for blogger since they run it. But they don't, so we're stuck with some hobbled together apps. Or the email option. Which is what I have been using. Anywho, there was an update to the 'blogaway' app that makes it easier to add pictures. So, I'll give that a whirl. That might be a little too "inside" blogger for you, but just wanted to let you know why you might see posts labeled test.

Apparently someone thought the best place to dig a hole to China would be in front of our house. Or they are just replacing the water pipes. I'm going with the first one.

The weekend plans . . .

I'm kind of pissed that they edited my part out of this. They were probably just jealous at my bow shooting abilities. So I'll be doing some L.A.R.P. this weekend. Getting in touch with Eywa. Ok, not really. But Susitron 6000 and I are going to Back to the 50's. No, we're not getting a Delorean to travel back in time (that would be sweet though). It's just the car show. And I think I will try to "live blog" this. Considering I didn't take too many pictures last year, I figured I'll just take the pictures with the Evo and upload straight to the blog. Oh sure, I'll try to add something witty with each picture but it gets hot out there and I may get too tired to do that. Also, I've been hearing rumors (no, not my favorite bar in St. Paul (seriously, google it)) that a longtime reader, occasional poster, might be doing his own "live blog" this weekend. I'll give you a little teaser. It involves a trip to Iowa. Basically you are going to want to stay indoors all weekend around the computer and just keep hitting refresh on the ol' blog.

Buildoff? Update

Is it still a buildoff with only one bike in the garage? If not, Dave won. His bike went home last Sunday. He's still doing some minor tweaking though. And rumor has it that he's getting a turbo (or maybe just new tires). So now you just get pic's of the 5hunny. And how about that all aluminum seat? I ain't gonna lie, it's turning out better than I thought. And I do need to weld Dave's seat yet, but his should be easier (no curves or radii).

Second mobile blogging attempt

Well the first try at a blogger app could be deemed a fail. But I'm trying a new one. There should be a picture of Dave E. Boy telling me I'm #1.
