How's this make you feel?


What you're looking at here is 12 million years worth of galaxies, stars, and other space stuff (and good news, I didn't see the Death Star). And the picture is made up of a ton of smaller pictures from the Hubble, so you can zoom in pretty close. I can't even begin to wrap my head around this picture. Just think of the size of this. . . it's infinite. And they claim that it is still expanding. I'm not sure how "infinite" can be expanding, but it is apparently. The other crazy thing is that the light we're seeing is from 12 million years ago. Let that sink in a little. These things are so far away that it took 12 million years to get to us. Did you hear that? That was my mind being blown.
