Test

Just testing the internet connection after the move (aka I think we have too much stuff). Ok actually I knew it was working but I needed a reason to post this pic. It really is true, you meet the biggest people on a Honda.

The Secret Handshake?

Why don't I want a new Harley®? Well that's easy enough, I don't know the "secret handshake". And I don't think I want someone trying the "secret handshake" on me.

YES. Y E fricken S

Saturday Sickle Progress

Got a little (but it looks like a lot) done yesterday on the 'ol SR500. Wheels painted, rotors painted, switched exhaust back to stock front (for now at least), removed stock head light mount, switched handle bars (even though all the cables are too short, I just wanted to get these on there to see what they look like), and a bunch of other little things. Now that you're bored with this, look at the pics again.

Donnie Smith Bike Show

This is my little take on the ultra-mega Donnie Smith Bike Show 2008 edition. Same 'ol shit as last yeah for the most part. Pretty goofy looking stuff with either: a) tribal graphics, b) that new style "realistic" flame graphics, c) tribal flame graphics, d) all of the above with a skull. Oh yeah, there was also soon nutbar that had a John Deere "theme" bike complete with a John Deere Parking Only sign. Why can't a motorcycle just be a motorcycle? But (and that's a big butt, hardy har har) that doesn't mean all was lost. The above beauties were also at this show. There was also a few other ones that I have pics of but these were the far outedness. I mean the 60's & 70's are in full force with these. Just look at the top pic of the shovel with the long ass chrome springer, fish tail exhaust tips, spool front wheel, leather seat with velour center section, wild pin striping, dual carbs with the angel hair in it for the show, the anti OCC sticker by the rear tire, and the huge stack of old chopper mags. Sweeeet. Then we have the Triumph with the long ass springer, mini king & queen seat, spoolie invader front wheel, and just oozes tough. The other red shovel and the flaked out custom below it are both from the same dude. He goes by "Tha Nutz" on the Jockey Journal, so you know he's got 'em. I don't want to ruin the bikes any by saying anything about them, so I'll let the pics do the talking. Ok actually I just have to say that the heavy flake on the pan was done by the world famous Harpoon. And finally the brown flake pan that had the rockabilly chicks cooooing over is owned by Chris, a friend of "Tha Nutz". Again this thing pretty much speaks for itself, but check out that war bird taillight. So there you have it. Oh what's that you say, What about that last pic? Yeah that was me after we got home and I realized my pile will never be as cool as these.

What I did at work yesterday. . .

Ok, I didn't make it but I designed and installed it. So there! Key things to note: 1) pearlescent white paint, 2) edges painted red but 1/4" of white is also on the edge, 3) radius left edge, 4) good lighting but the camera picked it up weird so it looks really dark, 5) pictures reduced to 72 dpi before posting here.
