Susie in the garage

Yes, it's true. Susie is in the garage using power tools. Everyone still has all their fingers still.

Huffing paint

I'm painting the wheels today. Doors and windows completely closed and sealed. Can't beat a spray can buzz.

OK. I'm kidding. The door and window is open. There is some fresh air coming in. It still smells good in here though.

It's gone. . .

Yes, it's true. The SR500 is gone. A man from St. Paul bought it. Sniffles all around.

Pervert Goat

What a weirdo. I guess goats do eat cans.

Pump pump pump it up

Finally got my tires to bead. At least I'm pretty sure they are. No air leaking so far.

I shaved my front end!!!1!

The goal last night was to finish smoothing the right (left in the pic) front fork. I got that done. So I thought, I'll just take a little scotchbrite to the trees (where the forks get clamped into) since those were a little crappy looking. The bottom one was no problem, 5 minutes. I was looking at the top and I decided to do a little more work on it. So I cut the "eyebrow" mounting tabs off and smoothed that out. If you look at the pic a few posts down, you can see what it look like before. This is something that not a lot of people do (yeah, it's a little work but not too difficult. Cut and file, easy enough). But I think it cleans up the front pretty good. The only thing I don't like is the two small holes. Someday I'll fill them in but not today.

Turning into the tin man

Or the aluminum man.

Cool name

Choppering

Got one side shaved. And got half of the other side cut. Its kind of slow, tedious work. But if it was easy, everyone would do it. And most of the people that do do it, use a lathe. I don't have one of those. So I just have to use a hacksaw and files. It works.

Thick signs

1" thick acrylic, painted white with blue edges. These are for a conference rooms. There will be an aluminum rod going through them with some hardware pieces to attach them to the wall. Should be cool.
