The fun ends today (sad trombone). But we took a bunch of pictures with the d90 so I'll probably throwing those up sometime. Also, if you haven't looked at the blog in a few days, you may have to go through a couple of pages. Totally worth it.

Wooooaaahhhhh
The people in front of us got a laugh out of it too. They were either asleep or to scared too open their eyes for the pic. This was on Rock 'n Rollercoaster starring Aerosmith.

Gang Related
Look at this guy throwin' gang signs. We just wanted a nice picture with Pinocchio but he has to go gangsta on it. Looks like Susie and I need to make a trip down there to fix this situation.
And how about the lady in black on the right side of the pic. I think she likes the beard. Aaallllrrrriiiiighhhhttt.
Installed bars
Here is the finished, installed, end result for the bars in previous posts. Yeah, all this for botox doctor's names.

Finally finished
Finally finished with my 1/2" thick stainless steel bars. The green scotchbrite pads are pretty sweet for cleaning up metals. A little trick I have done (not on these though) is to spray a little WD-40 on the pad and then scrub. It just helps make finer scratches. I'm doing a bunch of this on my sporty.

Swap meet finds
Susie and I went to the ol' motorcycle swap meet this morning. Alot of the same old stuff and a bunch of stuff that I'm not sure why they even brought it (like a taillight that had a bent housing, broken lenses, and no bulb or wiring and it looks like about 5 or other ones in the same box). But I found a decent headlight and a gnarly rear tire. I wouldn't say I got a great deal on them but it was alright.

Quality tool
I had a few (72) holes to drill in 1/2" stainless steel today. I burnt through 3 drill bits and only had 2 holes to show for it. I figured there must be a better bit than what I had. So after a trip to Lowe's I found the right bit to use. The Bosch titanium. Dude. Like a glowing red hot knife through butter. At least it was for the first 60 or so holes. Which, in 1/2" stainless, I would say is pretty good. So there is my quality tool of the day. We salute you Bosch titanium drill bit.

Clean carb
Finished cleaning the outside of my Carb. I know what you're thinking, "ok but what did it look like before?" Well, imagine this but dirtier. With that baked on grease dirt combo. So this is a big improvement.
Wow
This is what the inside of my new air cleaner for the sporty looks like behind the cover. There was some time spent machining this. Very, very nice.
